At Monogram, your privacy is part of the product — not an afterthought. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and the control you have over it. It applies to monogram.app, the booking pages we host for our users, and all related services.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the app:
- Account data. Your name, email address, and credentials when you create an account.
- Scheduling data. Event types, availability, bookings, and the answers your guests submit when they book with you.
- Calendar data. If you connect Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, we access your availability to prevent double-booking. We don’t read or store the contents of your events beyond what’s needed to show your free/busy times.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by our provider (Whop/Stripe). We never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data. Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the service secure and improve it.
2. How we use your information
- To operate your account, show your availability, and confirm bookings.
- To send confirmations, reminders, and notifications related to your appointments.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To protect the platform from fraud, spam, and abuse.
- To improve the product through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
3. How we share information
We share data only in these cases:
- Service providers that help us operate (hosting, database, payment processor, email delivery), under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Between the parties of a booking: when someone books with you, you see their contact details and answers, and vice versa where applicable.
- Legal obligations, if a competent authority validly requires it.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and optional analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. You can control cookies from your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent the service from working correctly.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where the law requires us to retain it.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain uses.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@monogram.app.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), strict access controls, database-level security policies (RLS), and abuse limits. No system is 100% foolproof, but we treat security as an ongoing priority.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in different countries. When we transfer data outside your region, we do so with the appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Children
Monogram is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you by email or within the app. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
